2004 - United Arab Emirates - Visit to A61AJ
At that time there was no direct flight from Budapest to Dubai, so we also departed from Austria on one of Niki Lauda's red aircraft. Before leaving I wrote to A61AJ, but Ali was in Norway at the time. He nevertheless invited me to visit his QTH. I rented a car and went to see the station. I was allowed in and took a few photographs. Unfortunately I could not operate the radios, so I could only admire the Multi/Multi contest station. I had never seen anything like it before.
